Author Event with Julie Koon, for children and families

Children's author Julie Koon will visit the library and read one of her wonderful picture books. Best for families and children ages 3 - 8, but open to all. No registration needed. Held in the Children's Room. Julie Koon is the author in residence at the Braintree Public Schools during this school year. She will be visiting all the Elementary Schools, and doing some writing and art projects with students. Sponsored by the Braintree Public Schools and the Braintree Early Education (BEE) Coalition. Julie Koon is a Massachusetts author and illustrator of books for kids. Her books include City Farm, The Struggle Bus, Willow's Hair and Breathe a Rainbow. She creates art using a variety of mediums, including colored pencils, gouache, watercolor, and an iPad. Julie creates expressive characters in a bright, whimsical style.
