Gas City Board of Zoning

The Gas City Board of Zoning meets regularly on the third Monday of every month from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at City Hall. This public board evaluates zoning petitions and land use proposals and conducts any required public hearings. Typical matters include requests for zoning variances, conditional use approvals, site plan reviews and formal recommendations related to the municipal zoning ordinance. Meetings are conducted in accordance with applicable state open meetings laws; all hearings and votes are part of the public record. Residents who wish to comment on an agenda item are invited to attend and will be given an opportunity to speak during the public comment portion of the meeting. Applicants should coordinate with City planning staff in advance to verify filing deadlines, required documentation and presentation procedures.
