Knox Co. 2nd Saturday Speaker Series – Tecumseh: Panther Across the Sky

Event Hosted By: Vincennes State Historic Sites This is the eleventh of 12 monthly presentations, given free of charge to the public every second Saturday of the month from 2–3 PM. These events are held at different venues, and the Knox County Community Learning Kitchen provides complimentary snacks connected to the theme. November’s presentation coincides with Native American Month and explores the relationship between Native Americans, Tecumseh, and the emerging administrative forces in southern Indiana. The session will also discuss how Panther Across the Sky gained recognition following earlier Native American unifying leaders. This event is FREE and part of a 12-part speaker series held every second Saturday (2–3 PM) throughout 2026 at various venues. Attendance Limitation: 30
