Wetlands & Wildlife Paddle

Wetlands evoke powerful emotions. To some they are dark, mysterious, forbidding places, to be avoided at all costs. To many novelists, poets, and artists, however, they have been a source of inspiration. Come paddle with us to learn all about wetlands and the wildlife that call wetlands their home. Kayak and gear provided or bring your own. Limited spots are available. Life jackets are required to be worn by all. Ages 12 and up, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration required. Registration will open on Wednesday, August 5th at 8:00AM. To use a park boat, register online on the DCNR Calendar of Events. If you would like to bring your own boat, email: moraineenvedsp@pa.gov . You must receive a confirmation email to attend the program. We will meet at the Old 422 Launch by the Region 2 Office (Prospect Exit off 422).
