Planting Native in Your Community, DNR Building, Indiana State Fair

Visit us on the front porch of the DNR building during the Indiana State Fair to talk with DNR staff about the benefits of native landscaping, ask questions about the native plants chosen for the DNR building’s landscaping, and learn how you can plant native in your own community! This event takes place on Aug. 8 from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET; Aug. 11 from 4:30 -7:00 p.m. ET; Aug. 16 from 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET; Aug. 21 from 11:00 a.m. -1:30 p.m. ET; and Aug. 22 from 10:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m. ET. This is an open house, tabled event and is suitable for all ages.​​​​​ DNR values access for all participants and will provide reasonable accommodation for this event.
