Join us for a special Manatee and Sea Turtle Storytime with Samantha Olszak of the Marine Resources Section of the Natural Resources Division. Join Broward County’s Natural Resources - Manatee Protection program staff in an engaging Manatee Storytime. Listen to stories of how the Florida Manatee, Gentle Giants of the sea, sometimes need our help and learn what you can do to keep them safe. Samantha Olszak, a marine biologist and environmental specialist with Broward County, focuses on marine conservation and education for the new wave of environmental stewards! This event will feature a manatee themed Storytime, songs, crafts, and a visit from some prehistoric pals! The Marine Resources Section of the Natural Resources Division is dedicated to protecting Broward's beaches and coastal areas, which provide habitats for a variety of species including threatened or endangered corals, manatees, and sea turtles.
