Nighttime Neighbors: Marvelous, Mysterious Moths

Join Phipps Conservatory and Point State Park Environmental Education Specialist, Jack Lachendro, for another evening meeting our Nighttime Neighbors. This installation will look at one the most abundant critters of the dark: Moths! The misunderstood relative to the butterfly, moths are extremely abundant, incredibly important to local ecosystems, and come in a variety of shapes and colors. We will learn about some important species of Pennsylvania, bust some moth myths, and spend some time outside seeing what moths live around the Conservatory! We will start our evening in the CSL Classroom, then head outside. Please dress appropriately for the weather, and bring a small flashlight.
