Open-access Day for Friends of the Clifton Institute

Join us at the Clifton Institute for Open-access Days and Volunteer Days to explore and enhance our field station habitat! Open-access Days occur every Saturday from mid-January to mid-October, allowing Friends of the Clifton Institute—who can join with an annual donation of $40—to discover the area at their leisure while supporting our education, restoration, and research programs. Before your visit, please review our liability release form and familiarize yourself with the available trail map. Note that some trails are under construction and not all are marked, so navigation skills are recommended. Family-friendly visits are welcome, but all children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and we do not permit dogs, litter, or any activities disrupting the ecosystem. Volunteer Days focus on native habitat restoration, guided by Habitat Specialist Andrew Eberly, and are open to all ages (12 and up, with an adult).
