Pleasant Valley Paddle

Experience the peace and tranquility that can be yours floating on Lake Arthur. This entry-level kayaking program is designed to meet the needs of those more interested in an easy peaceful experience and nature watching rather than a long hard paddle. Meet the park naturalist to learn about Moraine's wildlife and experience the peace and beauty that Lake Arthur has to offer. Kayak and gear provided or bring your own. Limited spots are available. Life jackets are required to be worn by all. Ages 12 and up, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration required. Registration will open on Wednesday, July 8th at 8:00AM. To use a park boat, register online on the DCNR Calendar of Events. If you would like to bring your own boat, email: moraineenvedsp@pa.gov . You must receive a confirmation email to attend the program. We will meet at the Pleasant Valley Non-Motorized Launch Area (South Shore).
