Location: Ingram Family YMCA, 1907 KM Wicker Memorial Drive, Sanford. The Special Olympics Swim program is designed to provide individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to learn, practice, and compete in swimming. The program emphasizes skill development, physical fitness, and the joy of participation in a supportive and inclusive environment. Participants are coached on various swimming techniques, including freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, tailored to their skill level.
