Twilight Trek

Learn historical context and techniques used to navigate the way North to freedom including the challenges and opportunities nighttime travel presented. Traverse the trail with the help of stars and moonlight while learning which plants were helpful along the journey. Participants are highly encouraged to bring a flashlight and wear light colored or reflective clothing. Woodlawn Museum admission included; please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the hike to explore the museum. Hike covers approximately 2 miles and lasts 1 ½ hours. The trail is not ADA accessible. Appropriate for ages 15 and up. Admission: $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and children. Advanced registration required by 5 pm Wednesday before hike.
