Homework Help and Reading Buddies

Mondays are for supporting students at South County Regional Library! Students in grades K-5 are invited to the Library for 1:1 educational support. Students will work with volunteers to build confidence and complete assignments in 30-minute sessions. Reading Buddies focuses on the joy and power of reading! The volunteer may read aloud to your child, your child may read to the volunteer, or they may take turns reading! With Homework Help, your child will get help completing an assignment or practice math or reading skills.Sign up online or drop-in. Spaces will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis depending on volunteer availability. Note: While our homework help program is intended for student support, it is not a tutoring service. Volunteers provide help and guidance to the best of their ability, but are not certified teachers. Volunteers do not complete assignments for students.
