Ask a Fisheries Biologist, DNR Building, Indiana State Fair

Some of the best attractions at the Indiana State Fair, the DNR State Fair Fishin’ Pond and the live fish displays, would not be possible without the dedicated work of the state fish hatcheries staff and fisheries biologists. Ask our staff all your fishy questions from 1 - 2 p.m. ET at the DNR complex every day the fair is open. This is an informal event designed to provide an opportunity to interact with our professional fish hatcheries staff and is suitable for all ages. DNR values access for all participants and will provide reasonable accommodations for this event. Please contact Jeff Malwitz at jmalwitz@dnr.in.gov or 765-342-5527 to make an accommodation request. Requests must be submitted at least one week before the date you plan on attending.
