Unearth a Story With Master Gardeners

If you wanted to feed a triceratops today, what would you plant in your garden? Many plants that grow today have ancestors that lived millions of years ago. Join the Master Gardeners as they explore the world of prehistoric plants and the fossils they left behind. Use prehistoric leaves (still found today!) to make fossil imprints. Virginia Cooperative Extension is a partnership of Virginia Tech, Virginia State University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and local governments.
