Kayaking 101

Are you new to kayaking and don't know where to begin? Well join park staff on August 16th at 4pm to learn the basics of paddling. All materials will be provided, you just need to come ready to get on the lake! Participants must be 12 years old and older to participate as well as able to handle an adult kayak on your own. Those under 18 MUST register with a parent. If you have questions, concerns or require special accommodations, please reach out to gracpowell@pa.gov. We will meet at the small grey kayak shed located to the left of the main boat launch in the Shoaff's Mill area on boat launch road. Registration is required.
