Calligraphy for Beginners with Suzy Gessner on 9/19 Saturday 10-12pm

Join us for two engaging art workshops designed for beginners of all ages! On September 19, from 10 AM to 12 PM, Suzy Gessner will lead "Calligraphy for Beginners," an introduction to the beautiful art of calligraphy using felt chisel tip markers. Participants will learn to hold and move their tools to create varied line styles, practice the calligraphic alphabet, and design their own 'Thank You' card to take home. This workshop is ideal for teens and adults, with all materials provided. Additionally, starting September 5 and running through October 3, Jeremy Miller will conduct "Kids Drawing Basics" for ages 8-12 every Saturday from 10 AM to 11:30 AM. In this five-session course, students will learn essential drawing techniques, including life drawing, shading, and color theory. This foundational class is perfect for young artists looking to develop their skills, with all supplies included.
