Discover the art of embroidery through this hands-on beginner series. Designed for new stitchers, these classes help participants build skills over time while learning stitch accuracy, a variety of embroidery stitches, thread selection, design concepts and more. In part one on October 15th, participants will learn the basic stitches used to create and enhance textile art by decorating fabric with needle and thread. Please bring your embroidery kit to part two on October 24th to continue your work. This program is presented by Kathleen Anderson of the Colonial West Jersey Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America (EGA), a chapter that has been active for more than 50 years. Sponsored by the Friends of the Burlington County Library
