National Public Lands Day Volunteer Event

Jennings Environmental Education Center is looking for volunteers to pitch in at the park in celebration of National Public Lands Day on Saturday, September 26 from 9 am – 1 pm. Volunteers will do trail work and other park improvement projects for approximately 2.5 hours, and then receive a lunch and commemorative t-shirt for their efforts! Participants must be age 12 or older and must register for the program by contacting the Center at 724-794-6011 or registering online (by clicking register button above) no later than September 16. National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance the public lands American's enjoy. For three decades, National Public Lands Day (NPLD) has united communities in the care and celebration of our nation's public lands.
