Fantastic Flora! - Dry Sandplains and Forested Dunes

Experience one of Pennsylvania's most unusual natural environments as we search for Bayberry on the Dead Pond Trail. We will meet at Thompson Circle, which is located between Beaches 10 and 11. Field guides will be provided for groups to share. Participants will hike approximately 2 miles on sandy level terrain. Bring bug spray/water. If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. With at least seven days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs.
