Summer Sun Print Workshop

Harness the power of the sun to make your own “sun prints,” or cyanotypes! Led by photographer Sky Maggiore, we’ll learn about the history of alternative photography processes, the science of solar exposures, and get hands-on experience with the art of arranging, exposing, and toning botanical prints. We’ll provide all the necessary supplies, including plenty of foraged plant materials to choose from! You’re welcome to bring in plant materials to use as well. We’ll start in the auditorium and move to the sunshine of the lawn to expose our prints. Plan your sun protection accordingly!
