Bat Walk

Come see the spectacular sky show of the only flying mammal, bats! Memorial Lake State Park has a large population of big brown bats among other species. We create habitat for them through making bat boxes and maintaining open areas for hunting. During this unique opportunity to observe Memorial Lake State Park at night, we will talk about bat behavior and facts, walk around and observe them flying, and finish off with talking about ways YOU can help bats!
