Youth Self-Portrait Drawing & Painting

Discover the art of self-expression through drawing and painting! In this four-week visual arts program, participants will learn the fundamentals of creating a self-portrait while developing observation, drawing, shading, and painting techniques. Through guided instruction, students will build confidence in their artistic abilities and create a finished self-portrait. At the conclusion of the program, participants' artwork will be showcased in a special exhibition at the Dunbar Jupiter-Hammon Public Library, giving young artists the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments and share their creativity with the community.
