Join us as we create a tinted lip balm using some of those very ingredients, while also exploring scientific concepts like emulsions, mixtures, occlusive barriers, rheology, melting point, and balm stability. *Please note that common allergens may be present and used in the recipe, including but not limited to tree nuts. Teen STEAM allows teens to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics by working on hands-on projects that help them develop critical thinking skills, hone their creativity, practice working independently and collaboratively, as well as perform problem-solving through engaging projects.
