Sing & Play with Newton Folk Music

Join Newton Folk Music to sing and play a wide range of folk music, from traditional to contemporary, in a low-key, warm, and friendly environment. Singers and instrumentalists of all levels are welcome. Going around the circle, everyone will have the chance to suggest a song and to lead it if theyd like. You can always pass, of course, and the organizers are here to help. Well provide printed songbooks with selected favorites for participants to use during the session, or you can bring a tablet to reference an electronic version. In addition, we can project chords and lyrics from abroaderrange of songson a screen at the front of the room.
