Book Signing: Cancer, I Thank You

We will be hosting a book signing with Anthony Onnembo for his book Cancer, I Thank You. Join us in store on Sunday August 9th starting at 1:00pm! Discover how one young boy's battle with cancer led to a life of purpose, determination, and gratitude. Cancer, I Thank You is a raw, unfiltered account of how a teenager turned his darkest chapter into the most transformative period of his life. At 14 years old, Anthony "Jerry" Onnembo was diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma. He kept it a secret for four years- enduring chemotherapy, surgeries, and countless hospital visits while playing varsity baseball, maintaining a 4.5 GPA, and never missing a game. He wrote Cancer, I Thank You alone in a library with no writing experience, no editor, and no help because he believed the lessons his cancer taught him were too powerful to stay with just one person.
