Reading Buddies

Practice reading with a Teen Reading Buddy! Children will be paired with a trained teen volunteer for fun, supportive read-aloud sessions designed to build confidence and encourage a love of reading. Perfect for beginning readers and children who would enjoy extra reading practice in a relaxed environment. Intended for ages 6-9When you arrive, please check-in with staff at the Youth Services desk. When it is your child's turn, their name with be called. Reading Buddies is not a tutoring program. Caregivers must remain in the Children’s Room during the program due to our Customer Conduct Policy.This program is presented by library staff.
