Art with Liz: Lecture and Workshop

For our first class on August 5, our artist of interest will be Asher B. Durand. Durand was one of the greatest painters of the Hudson River School of painters. His landscapes are transcendent in their almost photographic realism. Each one of his paintings captures the essence of nature and the season in which he is painting. Students will create their own landscapes and practice specific skillsrelated to doing landscape work. All are welcome! This program will be held both in person and live on Zoom and YouTube. Registration is required whether you are attending in person or online. Registration closes 15 minutes before each class.
