Learn how to make maple syrup now so that you are ready to go this upcoming sugar season! The park naturalists have frozen 5 gallons of sugar maple sap from their harvest this past winter, and they will be making a small batch of syrup to wrap up the summer! Join them to learn about "sugaring" history, what supplies are needed, and how to do it. The group will also be able to sample a small amount of park-made syrup from this past winter. This may be the only way to learn how to make maple syrup where no one needs to bring a winter coat!
