Touch Table of Furs, Potato Creek State Park

Stop by the Nature Center any time during the day to see some of the furs of mammals that call Potato Creek home and need these coats to protect them from predators. The Naturalist will be on hand to teach you native mammal identification skills and more about these creatures’ adaptations. Our interpretive programs are designed to entertain and enrich folks of all ages. Children under 12 must have an adult with them at programs. Registration is not required for this program. All our programs are free (unless otherwise noted). They are open to the public after paying the park entrance fee. ($7 in-state & $15 out-of-state) All our Interpretive programs are listed in Eastern Time. The Nature Center's Hours during August: Open Daily 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET. *Note that during peak visitation times, entry into our park might be delayed.
