The Knight School Presents: Community Chessmates

Can preschoolers really learn chess? You bet they can! Developmentally, learning chess at an early age is much like learning a foreign language. The Knight School’s Little Geniuses Program helps young learners develop chess skills while also nurturing patience, resilience, and positive self-perception. We want every Little Genius to leave class thinking, “I am smart. I can figure things out. I can do hard things.” Most importantly, we believe learning should be joyful—and we’re committed to making chess a fun, confidence-building part of every child’s journey.
