Perseids Paddle

Come out and enjoy the night sky by boat! This week is the height of the Perseid Meteor Shower. Take in Mother Nature’s celestial natural fireworks while paddling along Lake Arthur’s shoreline with park naturalists. See the Perseid Meteor shower and learn about the constellations of the late summer night sky. Kayak and gear provided or bring your own. Limited spots are available. Life jackets are required to be worn by all. Ages 12 and up, under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration required. Registration will open on Wednesday, July 29th at 8:00AM. To use a park boat, register online on the DCNR Calendar of Events. If you would like to bring your own boat, email: moraineenvedsp@pa.gov . You must receive a confirmation email to attend the program. We will meet at the Pleasant Valley Non-Motorized Launch Area (South Shore).
