Stargazing Soirée

Join the Park staff for this exciting journey through the night sky. We’ll observe the sky and try to identify some constellations and the stories that accompany them. We’ll also be keeping our eyes open for meteor showers. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on and binoculars if you have them. This is a twelve-minute drive from the amphitheater. There are no bathroom facilaties at the viewing area. Directions from campground: If you are leaving from the campground, pass the contact station. Turn left onto campground road. When you reach the four-way intersection, turn right onto Holland hill road. Continue on this road for 3.4 miles. Bear right at the sharp turn where Greenbriar and Holland Hill meet. You’ll arrive to a large gravel parking area.
