Intro to Geocaching

Geocaching is a fun outdoor treasure hunt you can do all around the world. Join our park educator to learn about the different types of geocaches, how to use your phone or a GPS to locate them and test your skills with caches hidden in the park. This activity is recommended for all-ages, and it may become your family's next favorite outdoor hobby. We have a limited supply of GPS units available. Please meet in the Environmental Learning Center for a brief introduction before we search for caches in the park. If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. With at least seven days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for programs.
