BRIC Family Day: Back to School at BRIC House

One more stop before you head back to your routine – BRIC Family Day: Back to School! Kick off the new school year with a day of creativity, fun, and family connection. Designed to spark imagination and get little ones excited for the year ahead, this free event is packed with hands-on artmaking, interactive media activities, and plenty of opportunities to create, explore, and play together. From 12 to 4pm, explore the art of Cyanotype Printing, jump into Stop Motion Animation, try your hand at Textile Collaging, cut and fold beautiful Paper Flowers, and add your own painted leaf to our Community Tree Mural! Celebrate the power of reading as we transition from summer to fall! Join us at 2pm for a special storytime led by Fort Greene’s Greenlight Bookstore, featuring children’s author Alexandra Penfold.
