Anime Club: The Madness of Junji Ito with Charles Dunbar

At this month's Anime Club, we'll be joined by Charles Dunbar to discuss the iconic Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito! When you hear the name Junji Ito, it conjures up more than just one of the most well-known mangaka in the world today. It also brings forth art of terror, body horror, bizarre faces, the uncanny valley, and elder beings/situation/worlds. But who is the man BEHIND this? This presentation explores Ito the man, the mangaka, and the fan himself- someone who took his passion and turned it into a career that has inspired countless others to pursue their own.
