Join us for "Housewarming at The Castle: A Day in the Life" on August 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Castle, located at 418 Fourth Street, Marietta, Ohio. This free arts and entertainment event welcomes the Davis Family, who first arrived in 1888. Enjoy a delightful evening filled with live music from the Front Street Quartet, refreshments including complimentary lemonade and cookies, lawn games, and hands-on activities suitable for all ages. Drop in anytime throughout the evening to partake in crafting your own Victorian-style calling cards and to engage in community lawn games. For a deeper experience, we encourage advance reservations for specially curated guided house tours, a presentation entitled "Moving House, Victorian Style" by Sara Bir, and a cooking class on making a summertime steamed pudding.
