Nature Writing Series: Creative Writing Nature Walk

Please note: this event will take place offsite at Cylburn Arboretum. 4915 Greenspring Avenue Baltimore, MD 21209 Enoch Pratt Free Library is thrilled to partner with Cylburn Arboretum Friends to offer a Nature Writing Series this fall. Each of these events will provide participants with the opportunity to encounter and interact with nature in a unique way. On October 13, Cylburn invites you to join us for a guided Nature Walk tailored to highlight aspects of Cylburn’s lovely grounds and gardens which may act as inspiration for art and expression. Throughout the walk, Cylburn’s Education Director and a Pratt Librarian will facilitate creative discussion and ideation through natural facts and generative prompts. One concept we will explore is the rhizosphere -- a nutrient-dense zone of soil that surrounds plant roots.
