Join us for Homeschool Day at George Washington’s Ferry Farm on Friday, September 18, a special event designed for homeschoolers and their families. Experience a day of archaeological exploration, including tours of the replica Washington House, artifact excavations from teaching pits, and mending broken archaeological finds. Participants can enjoy a picnic on the grounds, stroll along the scenic Rappahannock River, visit the Ferry Farm visitor center, and complete various self-guided take-home activities. This event is limited to 25 participants per session, with two sessions available: Session 1 from 10:00 to 11:20 am and Session 2 from 12:00 to 1:30 pm. Admission is $6 per child (ages 6-17), free for children under 5, and $4 for adults. All children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
