Little Naturalists: Marvelous Monarchs

Little naturalists, aged 3-7, are invited to fly to Raymond B. Winter State Park to learn about our incredible monarch butterflies. We will be reading "Monarch! Come Play with Me" by Ba Rae to explore their life cycles and compare their development to our own. If we have clear weather, we may go on a short walk to visit a patch of milkweed to look for wild caterpillars and butterflies. If it rains, we will remain inside for a craft and game. Please meet inside the Environmental Learning Center at 11 AM. If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. With at least seven days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for programs.
