Vision to Learn: Free Eye Exams for Kids

Your child may need an eye exam! Vision To Learn will visit Hickory Grove Library to conduct vision screenings and provide eye exams on our mobile eye clinic if needed. Good vision is important for your child to do well in school. You can have your child participate in the Vision To Learn program. The eye exam and glasses are free! Here’s how the program works:1. The Vision To Learn mobile clinic is an eye doctor’s office on wheels.2. An eye doctor will give your child a basic eye exam.3. If needed, your child will pick out glasses.4. Glasses will be delivered 3-4 weeks later.5. The results of the exam will be shared with you. Exams are no-cost and only available for children ages 5-18 (Grade K-12). The eye exam will be about 10-15 minutes. Please arrive 10 min before your appointment to fill out paperwork. Please expect that the wait time may be up to 10 minutes.
