North Vernon Vet-to-Vet PTSD Peer Support Meetings provide a safe, respectful, and confidential environment where veterans can come together to learn, share experiences, and support one another. Our meetings are peer-led and are designed to complement—not replace—the care veterans receive through the Department of Veterans Affairs and other healthcare providers. We are not doctors or therapists. We are veterans trained through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and other veteran organizations to provide education, peer support, resources, and practical coping strategies for veterans dealing with PTSD and other service-related challenges. Discussion topics include PTSD education, stress management, coping skills, identifying triggers, family relationships, community reintegration, suicide prevention awareness, and available veteran resources. Our Mission: To help veterans and their families build better lives, restore the warrior spirit, and bridge the gap between those who served
