Walk in Penn's Woods

Join us in partnership with the Pennsylvania Forestry Association for a Walk in Penn's Woods on Sunday, October 4th at Little Buffalo State Park! We will be hiking our Creek Trail, which is about 1.5 miles of nature trail along Little Buffalo Creek. This is a moderate trail with some areas of grass and mud, so wear appropriate footwear for trail hiking. Some areas of the trail can be wet year-round. This is an excellent nature-watching trail with an abundance of birds and creek wildlife to be seen. Expect to hike for between 1.5 and 2 hours on this trail. Binoculars or cameras are encouraged, as are water bottles and snacks if needed. Friendly pets are welcome as well. Meet at pavilion 1 and 2 parking area.
