Fort Lauderdale Resident Sandbag Distribution Event (Riverland Park)

The Fort Lauderdale Resident Sandbag Distribution Event provides free sandbags to residents during storm season, occurring on the third weekend of each month from May to November. Distribution is available on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 1 PM, with the following dates: May 16 & 17, June 20 & 21, July 18 & 19, August 15 & 16, September 19 & 20, October 17 & 18, and November 21 & 22. Residents can collect sandbags at several locations including Floyd Hull/Morton Center, George English Park, Holiday Park, Mills Pond Park, and Riverland Park.
