Full Moon Hike with EMHR

Join Endless Mountains Heritage Region and Vosburg Neck DCNR staff for another night hike on Saturday, October 24! Participants should meet by 7:30 p.m. for sign-in and to receive a FREE glowstick! Join the group on a four-mile hike combining the Canal, Eagle and River Trails, as well as Vosburg Road. The trails are relatively level but will see some uphill and downhill on Vosburg Road. Hikers are encouraged to bring a sufficient supply of water for a couple of hours, and appropriate clothing and footwear (hiking shoes or boots) for the weather and the evening-time. Flashlights/headlamps will be encouraged to remain off during the hike, but may be useful when returning to vehicles. This exciting event is free and open to the public, but we ask that you please register so we can get a headcount for glowsticks and prepare with enough guides on the trail. Registration for this event closes on Thursday, Oct. 22.
