Preschool Play and Learn

Help get your preschooler ready for kindergarten by building essential skills across five early learning domains. Kindergarten readiness is about what kids should know and be able to do when they start kindergarten. It refers to a child’s readiness to make a smooth and successful transition and integration into the kindergarten environment. This includes skills like letter recognition, identifying colors, counting, and even gross motor skills. Through a short circle time and self-led, play-based activity stations, children will work together with their caregivers to improve these skills. Caregivers will have the opportunity to learn more about the skills their child is building. This program is intended for children aged 3 to 5.  Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program.
