Walking Soccer with LPRCD

Looking for a fun way to stay active, meet new people, and join in on the local World Cup frenzy? Lawrence Parks, Recreation, and Culture; the Douglas Count Senior Resource Center; and Lawrence Public Library have teamed up to bring you Walking Soccer, a low-impact version of soccer designed especially for adults 50+. It's just like it sounds: no running, no intense competition, just friendly play, light exercise, and plenty of laughs.  Summer games and instruction will take place at the climate-controlled, indoor soccer pitch at the Sports Pavilion at 6 pm on Wednesdays, June 17 to July 15. Entrance fee to the Pavilion is free. Bring friends! Registration is encouraged but not required.
