***Pre-registration is required: please click the green register button to sign up for this program.*** ***Meeting location: Ringing Rocks D & L Trailhead, 1975 River Rd, Upper Black Eddy, PA 18972*** Not everything that glitters is gold- sometimes, it’s feldspar! Join a state park naturalist while we talk about the most common mineral group on earth, present in rocks all throughout Pennsylvania! For this hike, we will be covering roughly 3.5-4 miles round trip. The terrain will be quite steep and rocky. Please bring water, sun protection, and appropriate footwear for hiking. You may also bring along any snacks you may want. For further information, reach out to Annastasia Soto at annsoto@pa.gov. Bathrooms: There is no restroom in the parking lot.
