1 Schenley Dr, Pittsburgh, PA, 15213
Join Phipps Conservatory and Point State Park Environmental Education Specialist, Jack Lachendro, for the third meeting in our Nighttime Neighbors series. This installation will dive out of the air and fly right into your heart. That's right, we're talking about bats! Come learn about the 9 different species that call Pennsylvania home, discover how these incredible creatures have adapted to live in the dark, and we may even bust a few myths and folklore that are attached to our favorite flying mammal. We will also take a short hike down to Panther Hallow to learn what types of bats can be found in Schenley Park. Please dress appropriately for the weather, and bring a small flashlight to help you walk around after it gets dark. This program will take place at Phipps Conservatory. Registration and fees are through Phipps Conservatory and can be found at the Buy Tickets link.
