Marvelous Monarchs

Fly to Raymond B. Winter State Park to explore the world of monarch butterflies. Listen to a short presentation to learn about the life cycle, migration, and adaptations of these unique insects. Weather permitting, we will take a short walk to exlore a patch of milkweed and look for wild butterflies. Live caterpillars/butterflies may be on display, and we may have an opportunity to tag butterflies. Please meet inside the Environmental Learning Center at 10 AM. If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. With at least seven days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for programs.
