Join us for a day of Dachshund fun!!! Calling all dashing dachshunds and their devoted owners! It’s time to mark your calendars and wag those tails for the most exhilarating event of the year – Marietta Main Street’s Dachshund Derby! This pawsitively delightful event is set to take place on Saturday, October 10th, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in downtown Marietta. Prepare to strut your stuff in style as we kick off the festivities at 12:00 p.m. with a parade walk from The Armory parking lot to the gazebo at Muskingum Park. We encourage you and your fur babies to go all out with costumes that will make tails wag and jaws drop! But wait, there’s more! Once the parade concludes, it’s off to the races on the Armory Lawn at 1:00 p.m. We’ve got five different race categories based on age, so whether you’ve got a seasoned senior or a speedy pup, there’s a race for everyone. And don’t worry, if racing isn’t your dog’s cup of kibble, we’ve got plenty of fun contests at stations located outside
